Fruit set was very good, and pollinating insects did their job diligently; so we expect to produce excellent fruit.
Depending on the weather conditions during the summer months, the early cultivars should begin ripening in mid-June, with the late varieties arriving in early August.
We therefore expect to begin
harvesting and selling fresh fruit between mid- and late-June.
We look forward to seeing our seasonal customers again, to share the satisfaction of savoring healthy, tasty, and authentic blueberries and raspberries.
Of course, the jams and nectar made with our organic fruit are always available year-round.

IIn early spring, insect protection nets are left open because flowering attracts bees and bumblebees to the fields for pollination. In May, once the plants have completed fruit set, the insect protection nets are closed to immediately protect the fruit from its best development. During this period, the plants are fed with natural products through fertigation, permitted for organic production by the Ministry of Agriculture (https://www.sian.it/vismiko/jsp/fertFabbricanteRicerca.do), thus achieving optimal production in terms of both quality and quantity, ensuring the best balance in plant management over time.

At the beginning of summer, the fruits ripen and the harvest season begins, typically ending in early August. To preserve the quality and freshness of the fruits, harvesting begins every day at dawn and ends mid-morning, before the heat can alter the organoleptic characteristics, particularly of raspberries, which are extremely delicate in this regard.
From an agronomic standpoint, attention is focused on protecting plants and fruits from the heat and from alien pests, which have become highly invasive, naturally using countermeasures provided for in organic protocols.
